Where April Eats, Part 3: The Best Brunch and Lunch Spots in Cheltenham
After exploring Cheltenham’s best coffee spots and independent bakeries for pastries, it’s time for something a little more substantial. You’re caffeinated, you’ve had your sweet treat, and now you need a proper meal. April’s back with part three of her five-part foodie series - her favourite brunch and lunch spots in Cheltenham, from laid-back cafés to local institutions that never miss.
Baker & Graze
Location: 48 Suffolk Road
A popular cafe in the Suffolks area, if you didn’t make it to Six Chimneys (above) you can find the bread & pastries here. If it’s sunny try to get a spot in their back garden!

WoodKraft
Location: 13 Regent Street
WoodKraft’s hash browns might be the most popular thing on their menu, and for good reason. Whichever tasty dish you order, add one on the side!

Botanica Coffee Kitchen
Location: Alstone Lane
Well worth a little detour to sit among the plants and savour their tasty menu.

The Steamhouse
Location: Saint George’s Place
Two things are done very well here; bagels and doughnuts, you have to give them a try!
That’s it for part three of April’s Cheltenham food series - the spots she keeps going back to for a reliable brunch or a lazy lunch. Whether you’re after hash browns that live up to the hype, a leafy hideaway surrounded by plants, or a bagel that hits the spot, Cheltenham’s independent cafés have you covered.
Next up, April will be sharing her favourite dinner spots in Cheltenham - from relaxed neighbourhood restaurants to special-occasion favourites. Stay tuned for part four of Where April Eats.
